Hi, I am Ali Shilo

Ali Shilo
Hi, I am Ali Shilo.

Welcome to my personal healing journey! I am sharing this wealth of information in hopes to help people like you become all you want to be.

This journey took over 3 decades beginning with baby steps, that led to steps and eventually led to strides. (You must learn to crawl before you walk and walk before you run.) These experiences sometimes proved to be favorable, while others not so much; basically, a great deal of trial and error as I researched and attempted to navigate life. What worked for me, may or may not work for you.

The information is being offered as a general guide of what helped me on my healing journey towards physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It is my belief everyone walks their own life path often encountering devastating experiences which either propels them to rise or fall. My lifelong mantra has always been, “If it is to be, it is up to me!”

Hopefully there are loving and caring people supporting you along your life’s journey, but only you can create lasting change. There is not an easy path, no one is coming to lift you up and save you, it really is all up to you. Life can be difficult (at times) and it is well worth the effort to rise like a Phoenix!

All my healing began with “peeling back the layers” of situations presenting themselves. Perhaps take a moment to visualize peeling an onion one layer at a time; the more layers you peel the more your eyes may react. Healing can sometimes feel painful, it will demand you take responsibility for your life which in turn, creates within you a personal power no one can take away! Life really is all about choices.

Fact is, you create everything into your life, good, bad or indifferent. You need not believe this statement for it to be true. Do you want to be a victim, or a thriver of life? Choosing to stay in victim mode puts you in a vulnerable position of helplessness. Working to thrive in life, to become a survivor of life, will create personal power at the very core of your being. Do you want to work towards a better you or do you want to keep scrambling around on the wheel of life (think hamster) with repeated emotional and physical ailments?

There is an old saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears”. Are you ready?

I invite you to follow this blog, if for no other reason than to gain some knowledge. As my father often told me, “It costs nothing to carry knowledge around in your head”.

Wishing you the life of your dreams!

Namaste,

Ali
