April 30, 2025 my teenage grandson called my cell phone at approximately 4:30pm. He was extremely upset saying I had to pick him up. He did not know where he was, all he could manage to say was, "We've been in an accident, I need you to come pick me up". Eventually I was able to get an address (from a bystander listening to the conversation) which proved to be approximately 20 minutes away, on a country road. I headed out immediately concentrating on my driving safety because my emotions were overwhelming.
Arriving to the scene all three male teenagers managed to walk away from the high speed crash. The police and ambulance attendees repeatedly advised it was amazing these kids walked away. Most times they arrive to scenes like this with everyone in the car deceased or with traumatic injuries. Everyone (including myself) was extremely relieved with the outcome because we all know this horrific car crash could have been devastating.
Realizing this was an absolute miracle, it suddenly dawned on me that perhaps this was a case of divine intervention, which most people might call luck. As a retired grandmother, I live in the home of my grandchildren as a caregiver. Even though I am of mature age, it is easy to remember my teenage years. Many teenagers are wild and free thinking nothing will happen to them. Often trying to discuss the dangers of careless driving, no teenager wants to listen, let alone consider the consequences.
We cannot lock our teenagers in the home, but rather let them venture out often hoping they will arrive back home safe. As a spiritual person I had to remind myself to walk my talk while he was out with his friends. Every time I would find myself worrying about what he and his friends were doing, I would turn it around (TIA) and say to myself, "(name) is safe and divinely protected". This I would repeat often whenever my mind began to worry.
Miracles run rampant in our lives, I have seen and heard many events/stories of such (including my own life on many occasions). These 3 teenagers walking away (all with minor injuries), from a high speed accident with witnesses saying they rolled six times, is a miracle in my opinion.
Did my constant mantra prayer have anything to do with the divine intervention? We will never truly know, but, considering the basis of the Law of Attraction ... what we think about, we bring about, it is definitely highly plausible.
I believe everything happens for a reason. It was not the time for any of them to exit their life and all the families are truly grateful their sons coming back home safe that day.
It is often said, "Ten seconds can change your life" and it's true.
Hug your loved ones tight, tomorrow is promised to no one!
