#01 ROADMAP TO HEALTH...Introduction

Anyone knowing me personally understands I am a health freak of sorts. For half of my life I have been health conscious. Eating properly and getting exercise, not necessarily going to the gym (although did that in my early years), but staying active, very active.


Before I turned 30, I quit smoking cigarettes.


Once I turned 30, I stopped drinking any type of alcohol, and began eating much healthier.


By the time I turned 40, I was seeking natural, alternative medicine which included energy healing helping with emotional baggage.


That was 25 years ago and have tried almost everything under the sun to stay healthy during that time, mostly with success.


Now, taking a small step back, in my mid-thirties sleep issues began to haunt me. I turned to what "I thought" was a great solution...MELATONIN. It was not available in Canada at that time, but by chance, discovered it was available in one particular health food store. The owner had it in her back office, used her intuition for patrons of her store, before she would sell it to you. THAT began an addiction to melatonin for almost 20 years, and eventually it became useless in helping me sleep.


Let's just say, I believe natural alternative medicine is the way to health. I do not take ANY pharma meds and refuse to do so. That includes over the counter products.


The ROADMAP TO HEALTH blogs will detail my personal healing journal over the past 2+ decades of researching and testing natural alternative remedies.
