#19 ROADMAP TO HEALTH - Pumpkin Seeds for Parasites

RAW Pumpkin seeds are heralded in the fight against parasites, especially in the bowel area. They contain an amino acid called cucurbitacin which effectively paralyzes the leeching worms. Once paralyzed the parasite loses their grip on your insides making it much easier to expel them during a bowel movement.

It has been mentioned previously in this blog, that any protocol for removing parasites should be done no more than 5 days in a row. The parasites are highly intelligent and will recognize the attack and move elsewhere in your body.

A suggested intake is half to one cup per day, but it really is all up to the individual and how your body is reacting to the seeds.

You can purchase RAW pumpkin seeds, or they are always readily available in fresh pumpkins in the fall season. Here are suggested steps in harvesting fresh, raw pumpkin seeds:

  1. Place seeds and surrounding pulp in a colander

  2. Run water over the seeds (in the colander) and use your fingers to remove the pulp from the seeds

  3. Place the rinsed seeds on a dry towel (on a cookie tray), spacing the seeds out so they do not touch

  4. Place the seeds in a cool dry place for approximately a week

  5. The dry seeds can be stored in a glass jar for later consumption
