# 56 - ROADMAP TO HEALTH - Lip Balm

Living in Canada, I was an avid downhill skier from a very young age. This sport turned into a downhill racing in highschool and college, many fond memories! However, being out in the cold winters caused me to have an addiction to lip balm that still persists in my older age. Like most products on the market, store purchased lip balm has toxic ingredients (which is why I make my own).

Here is the recipe:

  • 2 TBSP Coconut oil

  • 1 TBSP Sweet almond oil

  • 1 1/2 TBSP Beeswax

  • 10 drops Essential oil of choice (optional)

Using a double broiler on low heat, put all ingredients in the pot (not the essential oil) and stir with a metal spoon until melted.

Remove from heat and add essential of choice (optional)

Fill the tubes or mini container and let cool for a few hours to harden
